Children in the Lakes of Savannah have the benefit of an outstanding education at all levels. That's because students in elementary, junior high and high school attend the newest schools in the highly regarded Alvin Independent School District.
Fall was the official opening of Savannah Lakes Elementary located in the heart of the Lakes of Savannah community. Nolan Ryan Junior High, which also serves students in the community, opened just minutes away. And, Manvel High School, one of the Houston area's newest high schools, is where high school-age students prepare for their futures.
All of the facilities are considered state of the art and are staffed with experienced educators. Visitors to the community can learn more about the schools serving Lakes of Savannah and tour new models and view homes by Lennar, J. Patrick Homes and Brighton Homes. J. Patrick Homes and Brighton Homes have just opened new decorated models and are building in the newest neighborhoods in Lakes of Savannah.
Lennar and Meritage Homes have debuted two of their newest models in Oakhurst at Kingwood's Terrace neighborhood. Representing some of the builders' most luxurious and spacious designs, the homes are a part of two new collections of homes now available from each of these highly regarded builders.
Lennar is featuring its Winchester plan, complete with a classically styled elevation, expansive front porch and well-planned interior design.
The two-story Winchester combines traditional design with architectural drama with large, open living areas and high ceilings.

Views of rolling hills and lushly forested surrounds are captured in Trendmaker Homes' new designs in Graystone Hills Estates, where spacious one- and two-story homes are now available. Priced from the $400,000s, the homes are located on oversized, wooded home sites in one of the newest sections of Graystone Hills. A new model by Trendmaker Homes is now open daily in The Estates. Plan A-170 is a two-story home with 4,278 square feet, four bedrooms, 4 ½-baths and a three-car garage with an auto court and porte cochere. The home also has a covered patio, a computer center, a game room with hidden storage and options for an additional bedroom and unfinished bonus space that could be used as a media room, adding more than 400 square feet to the design.
